Looking to continue the good play from last week, the Sport Clubber faced off against the Canton Celtic team.  The Celtic started the game short so Sport Club knew they needed to get an early lead.  They pushed 3 forwards at the Celtic backline, but they were holding their ground.  At the 30 minute mark of the first half, Bryan Crowe was able to back heel a pass that sprung Lars Ludwig free and he made no mistake on the shot gaining the 1-0 advantage.  Celtic didn't give up, and got the equalizer right before half on a corner kick where 3 of the Austrian team members slipped on the wet turf trying to get to the ball. ASC clearly held the play for the half, and didn't let up in the second half.  Joe Wargo played a free kick from the defensive side of the pitch, and Mike Fabbri out hustled the Celtic keeper to put away the 2-1 goal, and that is how the game ended. "We played a very controlled game today.  We are building each game on the last and getting stronger as a team," team manager Chris Stockman said. "We should be better in the second half of the season against the teams we didn't play well against." Next game is June 29, Austrian Society Waldfest, against FSC Pumas at noon at Austrian Park
