 game 9 Recap

The finale game of the spring 2010 season was here and the kids were jumping with excitement.

Another Mustangs team (Blue) would be the team that the SC Panthers would face. Miranda VanArman, Ben Husic and Noah Harrison would start at forward with Nicholas Fleischer, Abby Cooper, and Maggs starting at defense. The Panthers would attack quickly leading scorer Ben Husic would get his 14th goal of the season.

The Mustangs would come back to get the equalizer right away. Then minutes later they would get another. 2-1 for the Mustangs. Ben Husic and Nicholas Fleischer would each get a goal to put the Panthers up 3-2. Loren Adams and Joey Imielowski would play aggressively at forward. Autumn K., Danielle Erickson, and Lianne Badawi would again play a stellar defense. The second half would bring even more scoring from both team. Delaney Anderson and McKenna Podolak would make attempts at pressuring the Mustangs goalie. Samantha Debono would face many attacks by the Mustangs. The score would be 3-2 until Miranda VanArman would get her foot on the ball and get that elusive first goal of her season and give the Panthers a bit of breathing room. Joey Imielowski’s great effort all game would pay off as he would get his first goal of the season to make the score 5-3. The final score would end 7-5 for the SC 24 Panthers. Great end to a winning season. 5-4-1 would be the record for this ambitious young group. Hats off to everyone this year especially the parents were very supportive. Thanks!!!!!!
