SC 24 U.V. (1) vs. BESA(1)

BESA would visit SC home field for a go at another win. Both teams came out fighting hard as UV looked to get a goal into the net but was rejected by the defense and keeper. BESA picked up the attack and were in the SC UV zone for much of the 1st half. BESA would get a penalty kick close to the end of the first half. UV goalie Patrick Weekhout would make the save and stop the rebound to keep the score nil - nil.

As the second half got under way BESA would again press into the UV zone with good give and goes but a determined defense would stop the advances. BESA would get a goal in the middle of the half with a cross that found a BESA player in the middle to volley it home for the 1-0 lead. A foul 30 yards out from the BESA's goal. Basil Badawi would strike the ball perfectly into the 18 yard box as Joe Arwady volleyed it home to tie the game.

The Game would end a tie, the second consecutive tie for the over 40 team.
