The Sport Club 1924 (UV) fell to the Michigan Rovers 2-0. The weather was great and the pitch was fast as the match was held indoors at Ultimate Soccer Arena. The match started with SC in control of the ball and moving it across and up the pitch. However, no one was able to connect with the net. Play soon went back and forth with the Rovers scoring toward the end of the first half. The second half was much the same, good ball control, good passes, plenty of shots, just no one connecting. The Rovers scored again on a throw-in after a Rover went face first upon passing the ball inside the 18. They got a nice goal and a nice bump on the face. The Sportsters are struggling with accuracy (practice) and substitutions (position communication). Patrick Weekhout was in the goal for the Sport Club.
