The rain helped to soften up the pitch and the three weeks of vacation softened up the sportsters as they tied Rochester United 3 all. Rochester scored the first goal but was quickly matched with a nice header by Frank Gablowski on a cross from Jeff Poole.  Randy Bart snuck in a shot to the upper left of the net from the far right of the pitch.  Nice!   The score at the break was 2-1.  Rochester opened up with another goal as the backs were caught daydreaming about Frank G. buying the beer. Akwasi scored the last goal for the club on a nice back pass from Joe Arwady in front of the net.  Rochester was able to score again making the final 3 all.  Jesse Travino played in the goal for the Sport Club.

Sport Club hit both posts and hit the crossbar, many shots sailed past but the ball just did not find the back of the net. the final score could have been 6-3 for Sport Club, but instead ended in a 3-3 tie.
