The weather was hot but the Sportsters were not as they lost to BESA 0 to 3.  Once again BESA pushed up their front line and our defense was unable to mark them.   They have some good ball handlers who control the middle and feed their men on the line.   ASC had some opportunities but were unable to score.  The score at the break was 0-2.  Things settled down a bit in the 2^nd half as ASC did a better job of man-on-man coverage.  Honorable mention goes to Markus Brown and Frank Gablowski with three nice crosses from Markus; and, three nice headers from Frank.  Unfortunately, none were in the net.  Patrick Weekhout made some great one-on-one saves after BESA slipped past our fullbacks.     Joe Arwady breaks his penalty shot streak as none were awarded.   Also, after qualifying this week, Dave Fleischer was able to play his first match with the team.  Happy 40^th Dave.
