 SC 1924 Panthers (2)  vs  Mustangs(1)

More rain filled clouds loomed over the playing field for the seventh game of the season. SC Panthers needed to get back their winning way. The game started out with the Mustangs having only one sub. Ben Husic would have many chances to get through the Mustangs defense but couldn't find the back of the net. Miranda Vanarman would play a splendid forward position as she looked to get her first goal of the season. The defense of Nicholas Fleischer, Maggs and Danielle Erickson would hold strong as they turned away the Mustangs. Mckenna Podolak also played well on forward but couldn't get past the Mustangs defense. Joey Imielowski would team up with Delaney Anderson and Loren Adams at forward and could crack the defense either. Autumn, and Noah Harrison  would stay tough on defense.
The second half would Start with a mist in the air and the game scoreless. But within a few minutes Ben Husic would get the goal he was waiting for, and the SC Panthers would go up 1-0. the rain would start to come down a bit more and Samantha Debona would keep the score 1-0 until the Mustangs slide one past the SC Panthers goalie to tie the game at 1-1.The ball would be placed at half field for the kickoff , and Nicholas Fleischer would step up, look back, wait for the whistle, turn and take the shot from half field.....BAMM!!!! the ball was struck perfectly and was on its way into the goal but the Mustangs goalie would be standing in the right spot and the ball would hit him directly in the chest, fall to the ground spinning and stop inside the goal line for the goal. The crowd roared as it was 2-1 and even the coach of the Mustangs congratulated Nicholas on a great goal. The game was not over though and the Mustangs would come at the Panthers a  few more times but the whistle would sound and the game would end in the Panthers winning their 4th game. Coach Dave said "Whew,...I mean..I knew we would win" Abby Cooper and Lianne Badawi were missing tonight, hope to see them at the Next game.
