A sunny but chilly evening would be the backdrop for game 5 as the SC 24 Panthers would face the Wolverines. Samantha Debono would again start in goal. Ben Husic, along with Abby Cooper and Maggs would defend the goal for the start of the game. The game started with both sides making good runs at the net but the Wolverines would strike the first blows, and before long it was 2-0 Wolverines. Nicholas Fleischer had a great shot on goal but the Wolverine goalie would stop the shot with his face and send the ball flying back the other way. WHAT A SAVE!!! Mirada VanArman would also try to break through with no luck as did Loren Adams. The return of Delaney would add to the Panthers attack. McKenna Podolak would play defense and forward today. Noah Harrison and Autumn Kucharic would play well on defense also. Noah would deflect a ball of his head but recovered quickly and as tough as nails to get right back into the play. Joey Imielowski would have another good game as he hustled all over the field and would also try to get to the goal with no luck. The wolverine goalie was all over the ball. The second half would bring more of the same game as the first half and soon the game would be 4-0 for the Wolverines. Danielle Erickson would be in goal for the second half but couldn't keep the score at 2-0, not that is was her fault the shots were good goals. "We will regroup and come back fighting for game 6 this Wednesday" Coach Dave said.
