The
team looked great as they finished off Rochester United 2 to 0 at Delia Park
on Thursday. ASC controlled the ball for most of the game working it up the
sides with short passes and crosses. Both goals came in the first half.
Jesse Travino walked the ball in for the first goal (his second of the
season) when he pressured the keeper, who dropped the ball after a shot.
Joe Arwady made up for a missed shot by connecting on a far post cross from
Stuart Kelley. It was a thing of beauty! The backfield, Chris Born, Mike
Brewer, Bret Gallagher, Jesse Travino, and Bill Shelter played a strong
game. Keeper Helmut Thielemann turned in a solid performance with help from
Von Crossbar.
