Spring 2010 started with SC Panthers against the raiders who moved up to the under 8 major from under 8 minor division. New comers Autumn Kucharczyk, and Loren Adams will add experience to the team. the game started with Ben Husic, Lianne Badawi, and Abby Cooper starting off on defense. Nicholas Fleischer, Miranda Vanarman and Mckenna Podolak would be the forwards. Samantha Debono would carry over goalie from indoor soccer. Great pressure from the Panthers resulted in Ben Husic scoring for a 1-0 lead. Noah Harrison came to help with the attack. Maggie (Maggs) Worchol would continue her flawless defending. The 1st half would end 1-1.
The 2nd half would bring another surge of
attacks from SC's Miranda Vanarman, Ben Husic and Loren Adams. The
Raiders defense collapsed as Ben Husic broke thru and put in the
game winning goal. The defense played strong with Abby Cooper, Lianne Badawi, Ben Husic and Maggs turning away the Raiders
advances. Missing were Joey Imielowski and Delaney Anderson.
Danielle Erickson showed late in the second half and gave her all
for the last 5 minutes.
