A hot and humid day awaited the SportClubbers as they again try to stop a losing streak.  The last defeat fresh in their minds, they were determined not to repeat that game. 15 minutes into the first half, a great exchange between Curtis Reid and Mike Fabbri resulted in Mike breaking outside the defender and firing a left footed shot home for the 1-0 lead.  5 minutes later MIke Fabbri was fouled inside the box for a penalty kick, which he easily converted for the 2-0 lead.  The Rovers not wanting to be left out, fought hard and were able to even the score by the end of the first half 2-2.  The weather began to slow both sides down a bit, but another good middle play put Curtis Reid into scoring position
